KNOW WHO I AM

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Vanessa Thunder Sanquiz comes from a family deeply rooted in the arts. Her mother Gabriela, a talented dancer and choreographer, owned a dance school and gym in Coro, Falcón, Venezuela, while her father Tulio, an architect, designed remarkable real estate projects across the country. Growing up surrounded by creativity, Vanessa developed an early passion for dance and artistry. Art was naturally in her veins, a gift given by God.

Vanessa began dancing at the age of 5 and by 12 was choreographing and teaching dance classes. 

Her first choreography experience was at her mother’s studio “Gaby Studio”, directing a team of professional dancers for a Michael Jackson tribute show that was a resounding success.

Vanessa was always a big fan of Michael Jackson, she used to dress up like him and dance like him and even did little shows in her city dressed like MJ.

Over the years, Vanessa choreographed for various events in Venezuela, also she performed as a principal dancer at the prestigious "Miss Venezuela 2013" pageant. 

Alongside her best friend, Omar El Souky, she co-founded the academy ESYILO Y ARTE, attached to her fitness center. They produced numerous live performances, theater shows, and dance content, further sharpening her skills in creative direction and choreography.

In addition to her dance career, Vanessa has extensive experience in fitness. As a certified fitness trainer with 32 years of experience, she has taught a variety of classes, including precision cycling (spinning), step, hip-hop fitness, salsa fit, aerobics, cardio circuit training, and cardio kickboxing winning a blue belt in kickboxing through her martial arts training at TAO.

She also has the same years of experience as a Dance Teacher and Choreographer.

Her classes often blend various styles, drawing influences from house, popping, jazz, African, and Latin movements. She specializes in Street Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Jazz Funk, creating unique fusion choreography for her students and productions.

Vanessa has worked as a Choreographer,  Artistic/Creative Director and Professional Dancer for live shows, concerts, festivals, music videos, commercials, and social media campaigns. Her collaborations span top-tier companies and artists, including:

As the co-owner, founder, and artistic/creative director of "Millennium Dance Complex Miami", the most famous Dance Studio Franchise in The Worl that makes viral dance videos in a Hihg scales with "The famous Red Wall",  Vanessa introduced a fresh and unique wave to Florida’s entertainment industry and dance community.

Vanessa is passionate about empowering and shining a light on others! Her classes include motivational speeches, guiding students on industry insights, physical training, stage presence, body expression, breathing techniques, and personal growth. As an Artist Developer, she trains performers to refine their confidence, body conditioning, image, and stage presence for both live performances and to perform in front of the camera.

Vanessa is currently teaching dance classes around the world, she is married to "Yashua Thunder", an extraordinary and powerful artist in the world celebrated for his talent and vision. Together, they are creating art and building their careers with a shared, divine purpose given by God.
